Higurashi: When They Cry Hou - Ch.7: Minagoroshi

Higurashi: When They Cry - Ch.7: Minagoroshi is an updated re-release of Higurashi no Naku Koro ni Kai: Minagoroshi-hen, the seventh chapter in the Higurashi: When They Cry series of visual novels. This version allows the player to choose updated character sprites in place of the original game's sprites, and to switch between English and Japanese at any time.

Higurashi is a simple visual novel without branching paths or choices, where the player simply advances the text to read the story. After finishing each chapter, the player unlocks a number of optional bonus scenes called "TIPS".

Minagoroshi once again takes place in the village of Hinamizawa, plagued by dark secrets, tragedies, and deaths. This chapter reveals the strange secret of one of Keiichi Maebara's closest friends, and eventually explains most of the mysteries from the previous six episodes.
