The Great Battle V

In the year 30XX, Battle Force has rescued a space ship which has escaped from Planet Garcia. They learn that Planet Garcia has been taken over by a mysterious figure named Dada after the precious Galvastone was stolen. Battle Force dispatches Roar to Planet Garcia, and with help from a partner, must track down Dada and recover the Galvastone.

The Great Battle V is the final entry in the Great Battle series to appear on the Super Famicom, and combines side-scrolling platform action with occasional Cabal-style gallery shooter segments. It features a sci-fi western theme a-la Natsume's Wild Guns, and includes four playable characters: Fighter Roar, God Gundam, Kamen Rider Black RX, and Ultraman. In single-player mode, the player can swap between Roar and their chosen partner, while in two-player mode the second player controls the partner. Compared with the previous game, there is increased environmental interactivity, and the player can stun enemies to use as platforms or tackle them to break open new paths.
