Great Battle Cyber

Great Battle Cyber is a side-scrolling platform action game with beat-em-up styled combat. Dark Brain, the villain from The Great Battle II, has been revived stronger than ever, and has managed to recruit monsters from the Kamen Rider, Gundam, and Ultraman worlds. The game is part of the Compati Hero series, and features cutesy versions of Kamen Rider Black RX, Nu Gundam, and Ultraman Taro as playable characters, with many of the enemy characters also appearing from those respective franchises.

While the game controls like a standard 8-bit platformer, when players encounter an enemy, the screen will often lock in place until the enemy is defeated in one-on-one combat. Characters can normally only attack with punches and kicks, but also gain access to projectiles and special weapons when certain powerups are collected. There are a total of 15 stages with a boss at the end of each, and progress is saved with passwords.
