Resident Evil: Degeneration

Resident Evil: Degeneration is set during the events of the computer-graphics animated movie of the same name. You play as Leon Kennedy dealing with the effects of a zombie outbreak at Harvardville Airport. Explore the site, battle the undead hordes, solve puzzles and rescue survivors. The game has several different chapters where you must reach certain objectives and exit each area. You can upgrade weapons to improve their performance. There's an in-game PDA you can use to review intelligence that will help you, manage items in your inventory and look at maps of the area. Shooting is done with laser-targeting for accurate hits and all environments, characters and objects are fully in 3D. Once the game is completed, there's an unlockable Mercenaries mode which has you defeat hordes of enemies in an area within a time limit; time bonuses can be collected to extend your playtime and beat your high score, which can be posted online.

The iPhone version includes pop-up notices of controls that can be used in context with the current scene. You can shake it to knock away zombies with melee attacks, and can tilt the device to reload your weapon.
