Resident Evil Requiem finally got a demo for everyone who wants to try the game before buying it... But there is one very obvious funny thing... THE GAME CAME OUT ALMOST 3 MONTHS AGO!
Yes, Capcom literally released a demo for the game after an already massive launch success of 7 million sold copies and 3 months after the game came out.
People find it so funny because of that; demos usually come out BEFORE LAUNCH so people can decide if they want to buy the game or not. But here the thing is that the game is already a mega hit, there is no need for a demo version only now. Because of that the community is making jokes like; "Capcom is only now checking if people will like the game or not"
But still, there actually is a reason even for that.
Capcom says the demo is for people who still haven’t tried the game and for players who want to test performance after various patches and updates.
And honestly, Resident Evil Engine optimization is a pretty important topic on PC and in the gaming world today.
Resident Evil Requiem is already a huge success anyway; the game already passed 7 million sold copies and became one of the biggest Resident Evil launches ever. Fans are really praising the horror atmosphere and pacing in this game. A lot of people still say that Capcom currently literally cannot miss with a Resident Evil game whenever they release a new one.
Resident Evil Requiem got a demo version; but very very late... And the community finds it hilarious, because the game is already a massive hit with 7 million sold copies regardless.
