“Sandrone is the newest 5-star female character in Genshin Impact, she is a Cryo character who uses a Claymore as her weapon. In this guide, you'll learn everything about her and how to build the best ”
Sandrone is the newest 5-star female character in Genshin Impact, released in Version 6.7. She is a Cryo character who uses a Claymore as her weapon. She mainly deals Stellar-Conduct damage while on-field, making her an exceptionally strong DPS.
She first appeared on the banner on July 1, 2026, and was available until July 21, 2026.
In this guide, you'll learn everything about her and how to build the best Sandrone.
Character Overview
When it comes to this character, she has quite a few pros and cons, which are as follows:
Pros:
- There are plenty of simple builds for her that use freely available 4-star Claymores, which perform very well and are highly competitive.
- Her gameplay is fairly simple, especially when it comes to combos and team rotations.
- She is so damn cool.
Cons:
- She relies too heavily on Yae Miko and other 5-star characters to reach her full potential and deal high damage.
- She doesn't have many team compositions available.
- There is a lack of strong free-to-play 4-star teammates, and it doesn't help that they require C6 just to be viable.
ARTIFACTS (Sets and Stats)
Artifact Sets
There are two exceptionally good Artifact sets for Sandrone, and they are:
1. Disenchantment in Deep Shadows (4pc) (Best for Sandrone)
Sandrone is an on-field character who deals Stellar-Conduct DPS, making Disenchantment in Deep Shadows the best Artifact set for her overall.
Disenchantment in Deep Shadow provides a +18% ATK bonus (2-Piece) and boosts Superconduct/Stellar-Conduct damage (4-Piece), while granting a 16% CRIT Rate when the wielder attacks enemies affected by these reactions
It can be obtained from the Thorny Crown of the Mountain Wind Domain of Blessing.
This Domain is located at Windrest Peak in Mondstadt.

Thorny Crown of the Mountain Wind is a Domain of Blessing located in Windrest Peak, Mondstadt. It rewards the Celestial Gift and Disenchantment in Deep Shadow 4-star and 5-star artifact sets. You can access it starting at Adventure Rank 22, with party levels ranging from 59 to 90.
2. Gilded Dreams (4pc)
4pc Gilded Dreams set is a very good backup option for Sandrone because her Stellar-Conduct damage scales with both ATK% and Elemental Mastery (EM). So, if you don't have the 4pc Disenchantment in Deep Shadows Artifact set, this is the second-best option for Sandrone.
Gilded Dreams is an Artifact Set that drastically provides a boost for Elemental Mastery (EM) and Attack (ATK), making it a staple for characters reliant on elemental reactions like Bloom, Hyperbloom, or Vaporize.
It can be obtained from the Spire of Solitary Enlightenment Domain.
This Domain is located in the Avidya Forest region of Sumeru. (Close to The Chasm)

The Spire of Solitary Enlightenment is a Domain of Blessing located in the Avidya Forest region of Sumeru. It primarily drops the Deepwood Memories and Gilded Dreams 4-star and 5-star artifact sets. The domain features a Ley Line Disorder that boosts all party members' Elemental Mastery (EM) by 10% of the entire team's combined EM.
Artifact Stats
Priorities:
Sandrone is a character whose primary source of damage comes from her direct Stellar-Conduct damage, which scales with ATK, CRIT, and Elemental Mastery (EM).
Sands: ATK%
ATK scaling is better than EM scaling, so it's best to prioritize ATK%.
Goblet: ATK%
One important thing to note is that Stellar-Conduct damage is not affected by Cryo DMG Bonus. Unlike most characters, ATK% is the best choice for Sandrone's Goblet.
Circlet: CRIT
For the Circlet, CRIT DMG or CRIT Rate are the best options. Choose whichever one you need based on the CRIT sub-stats you have on your other Artifacts.
WEAPONS
Sandrone is a Claymore user, which means she has quite a few good Claymore options available, including the following;
5-Star Claymores:
1. A Teaspoon of Transcendence (5 STAR)
This is the best weapon for Sandrone, which is only natural since it is her signature weapon.

A Teaspoon of Transcendence provides a base 28% attack increase, while hitting enemies with Charged Attacks grants a stacking buff that boosts Stellar-Conduct damage by 16% for 5 seconds.
2. A Thousand Blazing Suns (5 STAR)
A Thousand Blazing Suns is the second-best option for Sandrone due to the plethora of stats it provides.

A Thousand Blazing Suns is designed as the signature weapon for the Pyro Archon, Mavuika. Its passive provides massive ATK and CRIT DMG buffs that are significantly boosted when the wielder is in the Nightsoul's Blessing state.
3. Other 5-Star Claymores:
As for the other 5-star weapons; Wolf's Gravestone, Redhorn Stonethresher, Verdict, Beacon of the Reed Sea, and The Unforged
They are all excellent Claymores that perform very well. In fact, they all outperform R5 Tidal Shadow in any team composition.
4-Star Claymores:
1. Tidal Shadow:
Tidal Shadow is generally the best 4-star option for Sandrone, especially in teams with a healer such as Qiqi, Diona, or even Escoffier. If you don't have a healer in your team, don't worry; it is still one of the best 4-star Claymores for Sandrone.

Tidal Shadow is obtainable via forging at a blacksmith. Its passive, White Cruising Wave, grants the wielder a massive 24% to 48% ATK boost for 8 seconds whenever they receive healing, an effect that can trigger even while off-field.

2. Mailed Flower:
Mailed Flower is the second-best 4-star Claymore option for Sandrone. In teams with a healer, Mailed Flower performs just as well as Tidal Shadow. Even without a healer, however, Mailed Flower still performs better.
Mailed Flower was only obtainable as a reward during the flagship event in Version 3.5, so it can no longer be crafted or obtained through any other means.
3. Other 4-Star Claymores:
When it comes to the other 4-star Claymores, the best options are Blackcliff Slasher and Serpent Spine.
These two weapons perform noticeably worse than Tidal Shadow, but they are still very solid options if you're unable to obtain Tidal Shadow or Mailed Flower.
Serpent Spine can only be obtained through the Battle Pass. It's also important to note that if you're using Serpent Spine, you'll want to have a shielder on your team so Sandrone can avoid taking damage and losing stacks.
Blackcliff Slasher:

Blackcliff Slasher is highly valued for its CRIT DMG secondary stat and its passive that buffs ATK upon defeating enemies.
Serpent Spine:

Serpent Spine is universally considered one of the best Battle Pass weapons, providing a coveted CRIT Rate substat and a unique "Wavesplitter" passive that increases all DMG dealt, making it an excellent choice for almost any claymore user.
TEAMS
Since Sandrone is an on-field Stellar-Conduct DPS, you'll generally want a team similar to this:

1. Sandrone
2. Yae Miko / or another Electro character if you don't have Yae Miko
3. Cryo - (This can be a healer if you want, but it doesn't have to be. Adjust this slot based on your needs.)
4. Flex- (The last slot can be any flex character. This can be a healer, support, or sub-DPS. Simply choose whatever best fits your team and your needs.)
If you want to play Sandrone as an on-field Stellar-Conduct DPS, this is the standard team archetype for her: one Electro character, one Cryo character, and one flex character, who can be another Electro, Cryo, or even a buffer from a different element.
An Electro teammate is mandatory to trigger Stellar-Conduct, while a second Cryo teammate increases the duration of Sandrone's Stellar-Conduct damage, allowing it to deal additional Cryo DMG over time and enabling Cryo Resonance.
TALENTS
When it comes to Talents, you should prioritize them in the following order:
Normal Attack > Burst > Skill
This is because the majority of Sandrone's personal damage comes from her Charged Attacks, so you should prioritize leveling her Normal Attack Talent first.
You can safely leave Sandrone at Lv. 80/90 and focus on upgrading her Talent Levels and Artifacts before taking her to Lv. 90.
Normal Attack

Generates threads that control her weapon using formulae, performing up to 3 consecutive strikes.
Charged Attack

Summons the Facilitatrice Automatisee Generaliste Interactive et Omnitache, or “Fagio,” and switches it to Decoding mode: Unleashes a sweeping fire attack on enemies in front, as well as periodically fires condensed beams, dealing AoE Cryo DMG.
Radiance: Stellar-Conduct: The condensed beams will instead deal AoE Cryo DMG that is considered Stellar-Conduct DMG.
While in Decoding mode, Fagio’s Decoding Power will continuously increase. Firing condensed beams will also further increase its Decoding Power.
When Fagio’s Decoding Power reaches the maximum of 100 points, it switches to Power Overdrive mode, in which it fires at opponents with longer intervals, dealing Cryo DMG. It will be unable to switch to Decoding mode at this time.
When not in Decoding mode, Fagio’s Decoding Power gradually decreases. When Sandrone is off-field, she will focus on maintaining Fagio, causing its Decoding Power to decrease at 300% the original rate.
Fagio exits Power Overdrive mode when its Decoding Power has decreased to under 50.
Elemental Skill

With her impeccable, ladylike poise, Sandrone boards the Tea Party Tactical Assault Hovermech and hovers forward for 6s. During this time, Sandrone can control the travel direction of the craft. Pressing Sprint consumes 10 Stamina and launches her into an elegant high-speed hover mode, in which she will move even faster at the cost of 15 Stamina per second.
Elemental Burst

In line with established ladylike behavior, Sandrone summons a large number of Prismatic Resonance Cannons for a frontal bombardment before firing on her foes with a Convective Inhibition Ray, dealing AoE Cryo DMG.
Radiance: Stellar-Conduct: The Convective Inhibition Ray instead deals AoE Cryo DMG that is considered Stellar-Conduct DMG.
Ascension 1 Passive - Eternal Speculation Engine
Radiance: Stellar-Conduct: When using the Elemental Skill Formule Phenomenale: Differential Analysis, if Fagio’s Decoding Power is greater than 50, the second Prism Shot fired by Fagio at nearby opponents will deal 400% of its original DMG as Fagio’s Decoding Power is decreased.
Additionally, for every 10 points of Decoding Power Fagio loses, it gains 1 stack of Refined Tactics for 60s (max 10 stacks). When Sandrone uses the Elemental Burst Formule Phenomenale: Q.E.D. while in the Radiance: Stellar-Conduct state, all stacks of Refined Tactics are cleared, causing the Convective Inhibition Ray to deal 100% + (number of stacks cleared) × 10% of its original DMG.
Ascension 4 Passive - A Lady’s Code of Conduct
Increases Sandrone’s Elemental Mastery based on her ATK. Every 100 ATK will increase her Elemental Mastery by 8. The maximum increase she can gain this way is 160.
Stellar Passive - Light of Rationalisme
When party members trigger Superconduct, it will be changed to Stellar-Conduct, and party members’ Base Stellar-Conduct DMG will be increased based on Sandrone’s ATK: Every 100 ATK she has increases the Base Stellar-Conduct DMG by 0.7%. The maximum increase that can be gained this way is 14%.
Additionally, when Sandrone is within a Polestar Field, she will enter the Radiance: Stellar-Conduct state.
CONSTELLATIONS
Sandrone's Constellations provide significant DPS increases, especially up to C4. Her C5 is also very powerful, while C6 is by far her most impactful Constellation, as it nearly doubles her personal damage compared to C0.
Constellation 1 - Morrow After the Golden Dusk
When in Decoding mode, Fagio’s Decoding Power increases at a 50% lower rate, and all party members deal 30% increased Stellar-Conduct DMG.
Constellation 2 - An Heiress Gazed Into the Looking-Glass
Radiance: Stellar-Conduct: Increases CRIT DMG from Charged Attack condensed beams by 40%. Also, each time a beam is fired, CRIT DMG dealt by all condensed beams fired during this Decoding mode period will be further increased by 20%. Max 3 stacks.
Constellation 3 - Refuse the Wake of Dusk, the Moonlit Yoke
Increases the Level of Formule Phenomenale: Self-Evident Proposition by 3.
Maximum upgrade level is 15.

Constellation 4 - In Knowledge Lies the World’s True Ground
When Sandrone deals Stellar-Conduct DMG to an opponent, she will also summon an extra Prismatic Resonance Cannon to fire off a coordinated attack which deals Cryo DMG at 125% of her ATK. This DMG is considered Stellar-Conduct DMG, and the effect can occur once every 4s.
Constellation 5 - Of All Beside, She Takes No Part
Increases the Level of Formule Phenomenale: Q.E.D. by 3.
Maximum upgrade level is 15.
Constellation 6 - Narcissus Wakes, Her Eyes Upon the Dawn
When Fagio fires a condensed beam for the third time while in Decoding mode, the beam becomes a more powerful Condensed Cluster Beam that fires continuously. This beam will deal up to 4 additional instances of AoE Cryo DMG at 100% of Sandrone’s ATK on top of any subsequent original beam fired.
Radiance: Stellar-Conduct: The Condensed Cluster Beam will instead deal 4 additional instances of AoE Cryo DMG at 80% of Sandrone’s ATK. This DMG is considered Stellar-Conduct DMG.
Additionally, all Stellar-Conduct DMG dealt by Sandrone is elevated by 20%.
PLAYSTYLES
On-Field Stellar-Conduct DPS

Sandrone is primarily played as an on-field Stellar-Conduct DPS. She has flexible field time thanks to her Elemental Skill's cooldown, so she will usually stay on the field for around 10–13 seconds after her teammates have used their abilities.
Quickswap Stellar-Conduct Enabler

Sandrone is currently the only character who can use Stellar-Conduct, making her essential for enabling on-field Stellar-Conduct DPS playstyles, especially for characters like Wriothesley and Cyno. However, Sandrone has very little synergy with these characters.
And that's pretty much it for this guide!
If you've followed all the steps in this guide, you should have no trouble building Sandrone to her full potential.
