About
Ys: Memories of Celceta is re-imagined and retold story of Ys IV games. Adol Christin, the protagonist, finds himself in the land of Celceta, suffering full amnesia. He soon teams up with Duran, who claims he can help him regain memories. But that will require to venture into the dangerous and uncharted lands, which task Adol more than happily undertakes. During the gameplay, the player controls single character, while the other party characters fight on their own. Switching between characters is also possible, and can be useful as each character fights differently and uses different kind of weapons and attacks. This game is similar to the rest of the series, in a way it is real-time role-playing game with no random encounters as all the enemies are fought on the world map as you see them. As you characters level up, they will learn new skills and be able to perform more powerful attacks.
