Ys III: Wanderers from Ys

Ys III: Wanderers from Ys is a remake of an earlier game with the same name. Like the original, the game has 2D graphics, with character sprites and hand-drawn backgrounds. The visuals have been redone in higher resolution and with new artwork. Character portraits and voice acting have been added.

The game retains the story, locations, and general gameplay mechanics of the original release. The default difficulty level is lower than in the earlier version. Also, enemies get stunned for a short while when hit, granting the player character a short period of invulnerability. On the other hand, it is no longer possible to hold the attack button to hit several enemies at once.
