About
Your Turn To Die -Death Game By Majority- is a visual novel game with point-and-click adventure elements. The player takes the role of high-schooler Sara Chidouin, who has been abducted and forced to participate in a deadly game alongside ten other people.
In the game's adventure sequences, the player needs to explore environments by clicking on the screen, finding items to use elsewhere. There are also numerous minigames, both action- and puzzle-based ones.
A key part of the game are "discussion" segments, where the characters debate over their course of action. Various characters will present their point of view, and the player must find the best way to progress the debate. There are several actions available: the player may ask a character to explain their viewpoint in more detail, disprove a person's claim by showing an inventory item, or pit two contradicting opinions against each other. The player starts each discussion with a certain amount of "clout", which is lost by unproductive actions and running out completely means game over. The discussion segments also contain specific recurring minigames: the player might need to defeat an opponent's arguments by repeatedly identifying the weakest point of their reasoning, or to quell an argument between two people by carefully agreeing or disagreeing with their statements.
The game is being released in parts, with new chapters added once or twice a year.
