The Council: Episode 5 - Checkmate

Louis de Richet came to Lord Mortimer's island in search of his mother, Sarah de Richet. He found her. He found that she is not his real mother and that Lord Mortimer, who is a centuries old demon, is his real father. And he found out that he is a demon himself. Everything changed for Louis. The way he perceived the world. The things he could due to to being a demon. And all the lies he lived with that came to light. And on top of all that, he finds out that Mortimer plans to devour his soul and occupy his body for years to come.

Depending on player's choices in previous episodes, Louis may have acquired the real holy lance that can kill a demon. But Lord Mortimer is more than capable of taking it from Louis and going ahead with his plan, so Louis may check the estate in search for alternate ways of taking down Mortimer and seeing how others will fare after the summit that took place on this island. Gameplay is same as in previous episodes and choices made and skills unlocked are passed onto this episode. At the end of this final episode, the player can see conclusion of what has been decided and what has happened to remaining prominent figures that left this island.
