TETR.IO

TETR.IO is a Tetris variant that its developer describes as "a modern yet familiar online stacker". The gameplay consists of the standard goal of forming lines out of geometric-shaped pieces that fall from the top of the playfield. When a line is formed, the blocks the makeup the line disappear thus dropping down everything that sat atop the line. Failure to eliminate lines of blocks quickly enough will result in them stacking up to the top of the game's playfield thus resulting in a game over.

In addition to the traditional Tetris mode of play, the single-player experience features an online leaderboard where you can compete for the top slot in the board. Additionally, TETR.IO offers a multiplayer experience, game replays, and lastly - custom game controls and configurations that can be exported and imported between computers and platforms. The browser release allows for desktop notifications for friend status changes, messages, invitations, and more.
