About
Mina Lockheart has nightmares; she dreams of her grandmother Kate and their family home being destroyed by fire. She decides to travel back to the family estate to deal with her feelings of loss and loneliness. A simple nostalgic trip turns into an unexpected adventure to save the surrounding forest and mountain area.
Tales from the Dragon Mountain: The Strix is similar in style to one of Cateia Games' previous adventures, The Legend of Crystal Valley, although there has been a switch from a 3rd person to a 1st person perspective.
The difficulty level is targeted more to the casual gamer. There is a fair degree of exploration, with the game split into six chapters, each set in a new location. There is a combination of standard inventory puzzles and lots of different minigames. The protagonist is accompanied by a sidekick named Malik for much of the adventure.
