About

Super Smash Flash 2 is the sequel to the fangame Super Smash Flash, but described as a reboot by the developer. The goal is to knock opponents off the stage using a variety of moves. The game features are variety of modes including both Solo and Group modes.

The Solo modes include: Classic, All-Star, Training, Stadium. Classic, All-Star, and Training are similar to their counterparts in the actual Super Smash Bros. series. Stadium includes three sub-games, these being Home-Run Contest, in which the player tries to launch a sandbag as far as they can, Break the Targets, in which the player moves around a course and tries to break targets, Multi-Man Smash, in which the player goes up against hoards of fighters at once, and finally Crystal Smash, in which the the player need to destroy crystals before the time runs out. There are also events, which are battle with special conditions and theme surrounding them.

The Group modes include: Smash, Special Smash, and Arena. Smash is the most basic of these is simply the basic platform-fighter gameplay from Super Smash Bros. Special Smash allows the player to give special attributes to the match, such as a different camera view or having everyone be invisible. Arena consists of Sandbag Soccer and Sandbag Basketball, in which the player needs to knock Sandbag into a goal or a basket in order to score points.

The game also features an Online mode in which players can play competitively or with friends. Their is also the Vault, which allows the player to watch replays and see the different Intros the game has had throughout it's updates. The Data menu allows the player to manage save data and records by importing and exporting files. The Options menu let's the player control Sounds, Quality, and the Controls.
