About

Civilization as we know has been wiped out by a incurable genetically engineered virus. Political chaos and public panic forces countries to take drastic measures to control infected populations: Death counts take toll by the millions as countries launch nuclear warheads to their own virus-infected cities. The main plot revolves around a small group of soldiers and scientists that managed to survive in a military bunker. After ten years solitary confinement, depression and boredom, the group decide to take their chances in the real world.

Soldiers of Anarchy is a real-time squad-based strategy game set in the near future. The perspective is top-down with full rotating camera action and gameplay similar to Command & Conquer. The game uses a mission-based system supported by a full continuing plot (full voice-overs) of the surviving soldiers... and their mission to find out what the real world has turned into. Each mission has different objectives in accordance to the pre-set game plot. Optional (usually unmentioned) sub-quests may be found during each mission.

Characters have minor RPG attributes (not enough to qualify for the RPG genre) such as speciality skills improvements (ie. Heavy weapons, Explosives, Medical, etc.) including a paper-doll inventory sheet to equip weapons and items.

Starting with almost no equipment, your soldiers will loot weapons and vehicles as the game progresses. Progress in the game will enable your team to access more elements in the game. After the 2nd mission for example, the team gains access to basic military base facilities: buy and sell weapons and equipment; equip and upgrade your military vehicles; gear-up team members before the next mission.

Vehicles range from various land based APCs, tanks, helicopters and fighter planes. These vehicles however must be operated (driven/piloted) manually by your team members.
