About

The creators of Shady Brook describe it as an "interactive horror adventure game" and, because of its mature story and graphic depictions, "not suitable for gamers under 17". The game is entirely mouse-driven (point & click) and played in 1st person perspective.

You play Jake Tobin, a novelist, who moves with his father to the little town of Shady Brook to gather materials for his next book. Even though their new neighbors seem friendly enough, the citizens of the town are not what they seem. A dark secret binds them together in a terrifying conspiracy. Only after one of the residents dies, supposedly of suicide, does Jake suspect that something is not right. Was it really a murder? And, if so, why is everyone so desperate to cover it up?
