Project Gotham Racing: Mobile

Project Gotham Racing: Mobile is an adaptation for mobile devices of the Xbox-exclusive Project Gotham Racing series. The game contains eight licensed cars and three cities (London, Paris and San Francisco) with three courses for each location. The available game modes are a solo career and a time trial mode. The solo career consists of several championships with multiple events. By completing them a next championship can be unlocked. There are regular street races against other cars, but also drifting challenges.

The eight cars have different statistics based on acceleration, drifting, grip and top speed. By winning races a currency can be earned to buy new cars. Races have a specific target and a cash reward. For each race five difficulty levels can be chosen, ranging from novice to hardcore. In time trial races the game keeps track of the fastest times along with ghost cars. Next to regular driving controls there are two separate buttons to perform handbrake turns and drift left or right through corners. Performing successful drifts is rewarded with 'kudos', just like in the main console games. Some races have rolling starts.

The JAVA release is available as a 2D and a 3D version. Owners of the 2D version in North America could obtain a code through the game to unlock a sneak preview of Project Gotham Racing 4.
