Our Wonderland

Our Wonderland is a visual novel set in the modern-day United States of America. It starts as Iggy Maxwell and his lifelong friends as children gather around a circle in the woods to perform a ritual to summon the entrance to "Wonderland", a place where one's greatest wish comes true. After a false start, the ritual succeeds, and the group enter Wonderland and make their wishes. The main game takes place years after this, as Iggy and his friends are now adults living unfulfilling lives and, after an uncomfortable annual gathering of the friends, now find themselves re-entering Wonderland in an attempt to escape the real world and, if but for a moment, live out their greatest wishes.

Gameplay takes the form of reading text consisting of descriptions from the protagonist's, Iggy's, perspective and conversations he has with others as well as those he overhears, and multiple-choice prompts (i.e. which path to take, dialogue choices, whether to run or flee, etc.) which mainly affect the game's epilogue or, if a wrong choice is made, results in a game over with unique text and dialogue.
