Oniken

Oniken is a 2D platformer game inspired by NES era side-scrollers. The player takes the role of Zaku, a ninja who has to destroy Oniken - an evil organization who wants to enslave the few remaining survivors on Earth after a global war. The game features 6 levels with 3 areas each. The storyline is explained in-game by cutscenes. Oniken features an abundance of smaller and bigger boss fights along with a boss rush mode. The player can also attempt to play hardcore mode, where he only has one life and has to start over from the very beginning of the game after dying.
