Momotaro Dentetsu 2017: Tachiagare Nippon‼ is a digital board game in the long-running Momotaro Dentetsu series. Gameplay follows the familiar structure of previous entries and is often compared to Monopoly. Players travel across Japan by train, purchasing properties and businesses in different cities to increase their total assets. Each in-game year concludes in March, when total wealth is tallied to determine standings. Players compete to reach designated destinations first for bonuses, while those lagging behind risk being afflicted by the God of Poverty, a character who causes financial misfortune until passed to another player. Over 130 skill cards introduce additional mechanics, offering both strategic advantages and unpredictable events.

The game includes local multiplayer via Download Play, allowing multiple players to participate using only one full game copy, similar to Mario Party: Star Rush.
