About

Lost Chronicles of Zerzura is an adventure game set in the 16th century. The story starts in Barcelona where inventor Feodor together with his brother Ramon are building a flying machine in their own workshop. When Ramon is kidnapped by the inquisition, Feodor travels on his traces. He gets kidnapped by corsairs, falls in love with the daughter of a corsair captain and discovers the real reason why the Grand Inquisitor has captured Ramon. During his adventures he visits Almeria, Malta, Tripoli and finally the mysterious Zerzura.

The gameplay is traditional point-and-click. There are puzzles to solve, NPCs to meet and interrogate, objects to collect, and many locations to explore. Most puzzles involve combining objects either in inventory or in the surrounding environment. Some sections depart from the conventional formula, such as the gambling mini game or the jigsaw puzzle; in addition, during one specific part the player can move between locations via a map only. Conversing with other characters is usually a simple affair about depleting all available dialogue options, however in some rare cases the player must choose between answers with apparently different outcomes. These choices have no effect on the events that follow.
