About
Liong: The Dragon Dance combines the gameplay of Puzz Loop and its variants with the classic tile-matching of Chinese mahjongg.
In puzzle mode, the goal of each stage is to remove a pile of mahjongg tiles by matching them to the symbols on the back of a Chinese dragon called Liong. Each match makes Liong go backwards. In mahjong mode the tiles have to be matched with each other. Only free tiles, not blocked by other pieces, can be selected. The mythological beast moves slowly towards a gate, revolving around the board. If it reaches the portal, it's game over. The dragon speed can be increased with the right mouse button, to show more symbols at once.
Special tiles with unique paintings give power-ups when matched. Arrow tiles move Liong backwards. Pause tiles stop the movement for a few seconds. Hint tiles show all the possible matches for a brief moment. Magic tiles remove 5 symbols from Liong. Memory tiles have doors that only open when the cursor is over them.
Between stages there's a bingo bonus round, where numbers have to be matched within a time limit.
