Knights of Valour 3

As with previous games in the series, Knights of Valour 3 is a classic-style 2D beat-em-up for 1-4 players set in a fantasy take on Three Kingdoms-era China. This entry stars an expanded cast of 10 characters, compared to the 9 characters in Knights of Valour 2. The fighting game-inspired combat system from the previous games is expanded on, with characters now featuring much more extensive move lists compared to previous entries. As with previous games, it features branching pathways, a complex inventory system and many secrets. This time around, players are given the ability to choose their next area from the map before starting a stage.

As with Knights of Valour 2: New Legend, characters gain experience and levels as they fight. Using the PGM2's card reader accessory, players can save their progress at the end of a game and start the next gameplay session with their inventory and levels intact.
