About

King's Legacy is a building / simulation game where the player builds a medieval kingdom and cares for the people in the kingdom. The good king died of old age and now his evil brother wants to take the throne. The player controls a young prince, one who will protect the people of the kingdom, even if this would mean to fight his own uncle.

The basic gameplay borrows heavily from the developer's previous title Shaman Odyssey. The young prince is directly controlled with the mouse and can be guided around on the map using a top-down view. He has to reclaim his kingdom through different villages with 24 levels in total. Each village has specific goals that need to be reached before progress is possible. This usually involves constructing a certain number of buildings, gathering food and collecting coins. Upgrades and new buildings can only be accessed when a blueprint has been bought, and a stone tower acts as a base. Players can also make spells from ingredients and the town needs to be defended against invading knights.
