About

An old friend has preceded the player in a pixelated 2D flooded subterranean cavern complex. In this underground, underwater maze, illuminated by bioluminescent fish, nostalgic notes have been left in small air pockets staggered approximately every 10 seconds' swim-distance. Conveniently, the player can use the keyboard arrow keys to swim for 10 seconds (represented by a giant countdown in the middle of the screen) before running out of breath, fading to black... then returning to the site of the most recently-visited note. Sometimes the cave's twists and turns hide the entrance to the nearest air pocket, and sometimes series of notes lead to dead ends, requiring backtracking. Eventually, with patience and persistence, the player may be able to catch up with his own friend (whose lack of swim constraints are quoted in the game's title).
