About
This Collector's Edition of Hotel includes bonus materials such as characters' biographies, an integrated strategy guide, bonus art, wallpapers, and a music soundtrack.
It is the default version of the game on mobile, consoles and digital PC storefronts.
The game received a makeover of sorts when it was ported from the original computer version to mobile (the developer refers to the original as the "legacy" version and the mobile version as the "casual" version). The original version has a movable 3d character on a 2d background while the newer version is seen only from a 1st person viewpoint. The newer version also has an interactive hint system and skippable mini-games. This is the version that the Switch received. As of August 4, 2023, the Steam release includes both versions (Windows only - Mac and Linux Steam release only runs the casual version).
