Hidden Objects

Hidden Objects is, as the title suggests, a hidden object game. It has a large selection of beautiful handdrawn sceneries from different parts of the world, with a lot of objects placed within the area. In every level, a given number of objects from about a dozen groups are placed (for example "23 cacti in pots", "22 lavender-coloured handbags"), and the player's task is to find them all. The game also includes a "scavenger hunt" side task: in most levels, one or two special objects are placed. They are always single (not part of a larger group) and, when found, they are used to complete the view of an extra scenery - a tropical island with only outlines of certain objects initially visible.

Each stage can be played in 5-6 difficulty levels. The possible ones (although not always all are available for a given area) are "easy", "medium", "hard", "expert", "special" and, alternatively, "madness" or "cleanup". Harder levels typically include more small, cleverly placed objects which are hard to find, but they aren't always significantly more difficult. Special levels include a large number of items of one kind (for example "116 foxes") or from a few kinds, but clearly related (for example rabbits, magician hats and magic wands), and can only be accessed after all previous difficulty levels from a given stage are completed. "Madness/cleanup" are levels with most items from previous levels in the same area all placed together, which results in ridiculous numbers of items to remove, overlapping one another... These levels don't seem to include "scavenger hunt" special objects, but all easy, medium, hard, expert and special levels may contain them, so finishing each stage in all difficulty levels is needed for the side task.

Stage order differs between versions, for example in the Steam version it's pretty different from the browser version. In the browser version at least one difficulty level from a stage needs to be completed to progress to the next stage, in Steam version there is no such restriction.

As of November 2025, the game is only partially finished. The browser version currently has 60 stages, the Steam version about half of that. In the browser version, only about 3/4 of "scavenger hunt" items can be collected after completing all available levels. The developers also post previews of new stages (ultimately there will be probably 100 of them) on their Facebook profile, but these levels haven't been added yet.
