Haunted Hotel: Charles Dexter Ward

Your fraternal twin brother has been gone a while but you weren't worried. His job takes him away, at times. Then you find a mysterious package containing a chain your brother never took off. Now you are worried. There is an address on the package to the middle of a swamp. Go there and solve the mystery of what has happened.

Haunted Hotel: Charles Dexter Ward is an adventure game of the point-and-click variety with hidden object and puzzle areas. In the hidden object areas, search for the items listed at the bottom. After you complete the area, you will keep one item that will be used later in the game. In addition to the hidden object areas, items are hidden in the scenes. Move you mouse around the scenes to see when the pointer changes to find these additional needed items. You will then need to use and/or combine items to solve problems in various scenes. Puzzle areas include things like tracing the electric line from one colored connection so as to connect the other end to the correct color or aligning numbered tiles so that each vertical and horizontal row adds up to thirty-four.
