Hanerutchi 2 is a Tamagotchi device based on the basic gameplay of the Chō Jinsei Enjoi! Tamagotchi Plus, but themed after the TV variety show Haneru no Tobira. In addition to adding characters based on the show, the device also has three new attributes: Music, Phys.Ed and Comedy. There are three minigames, each of which increase one of these attributes.
The Hanerutchi 2 can only connect with other Hanerutchi devices, as well as receiving passwords from the official Hanerutchi website.
