About
In this freeware fanmade adventure made with the AGS engine, Garfield is forced to break away from his everlasting eat and sleep routine when mutant lasagna takes over town. One of Big Lab's chemical containers got lost during transport and spilled radioactive material, turning all the wheat into strange creatures. The quest to restore the peace will take you through Garfield's town and beyond: the Yuck TV station, a park, the outskirts and woods, Jon's house and some alleys. You will meet the familiar cast as well: Jon and his grandmother, the lovely Liz, Odie, Nermal, Arlene, Guido and many new characters.
The game uses 16-bit colours and stays true to the original drawing style and humour. You guide Garfield through a typical point-and-click interface where all possible actions are shown at the bottom. For convenience, they have been bound to keyboard shortcuts as well. The game stands out because of the many animations, the long gameplay time and some very original puzzles. A soundtrack, sound effects and a full saving system are included.
