Garfield: Double Dares

Garfield: Double Dares is a word construction game for the Apple II.

A Garfield-themed game, the player earns points for word construction. During the first segment, the player is given a word, and must create 5 words that rhyme with this in a limited time. The game recognizes correct and incorrect answers.

In the second segment, the player is given the first consonant letter from the 5 rhyming words and 2 additional vowels. The player then bets how many words they can make by rearranging these. The player must create at least 5 words, but if they bet they can make more, and achieve this goal, they gain additional bonus points. If the player does not meet their goal, they receive no points.

The player is able to add additional words to the game's vocabulary.
