Escalator

Escalator is an anomaly hunting game, similar to games like Exit 8. Players ride an escalator upwards and then take an exit, which then loops them back to the beginning. They must then identify whether or not an anomaly is happening on the current loop. If the current trip is exactly the same as the original, with no elements in the room being different, then they are told to take the exit at the top of the escalator. But if the player notices something strange happening, then they are told to go back down and ring the alarm.

Getting the answer right progresses the game, which the player can keep track of by checking a ghost character at the start of the room. The character holds more fingers up the more progress has been made.
