About

In keeping with games such as Pick Up the Phone Booth and Die and You Have To Burn The Rope, this is another winner whose title spells out the only salient rule to keep in mind.

Every level (there are 15) begins with a happy little puppy in the middle of the screen, with an exit sign indicating its goal off to the left and a gigantic howitzer cannon on the right pointed at the puppy. Each level begins after the player clicks the mouse on the "start" prompt. Any player contact with the mouse following that sets off the howitzer's hair-trigger, obliterating all traces of the puppy and ending the game. If left unhampered by the player's interference, the puppy will in every case eventually make its way, however roundabout, to the goal on the left side. The game, however, will employ underhanded tricks in attempts to trick the player into intervening and, regrettably, shooting the puppy. Don't. Don't shoot the puppy.
