Das Tier

Das Tier (German for The Animal) is a free 2D click-and-point adventure game. It features an inventory. The game can be controlled via mouse. It is made with Flash and can be played either in a browser or download and run from a computer.

Story: The nameless protagonist is obsessed with the questions if creatures like werewolves do really exist or not. In the winter of 1899 the protagonist suffers from a severe influenza. Not fully recovered the protagonist receives a letter from the count of Castle Crast and soon arrives there.

Gameplay: The game runs in real time, though it can be paused or sped up. Each full hour is announced via sound and text. The characters do not stay in the same place and move around in the castle. When a person is engaged in conversation, a list of tasks and topics can be selected from a menu. A compass on the right side shows available directions.
