Coloratura

Coloratura is a sci-fi text adventure game with some horror elements. An expedition to a distant planet has uncovered a curious artifact, a cube filled with a mystery substance. Unbeknownst to the discoverers, the cube actually contains an intelligent alien being with alarming abilities, who escapes and proceeds to wreak havoc around their starship — and that alien is you.

The player's task is to somehow get the cube returned back to where it belongs. The alien protagonist perceives things in its own, exotic way (seeing emotions as a rainbow of colors, for example), and it has some unusual abilities at its disposal, such as recoloring people's auras to change their emotions.
