About

Brothers in Arms 2: Global Front is a first-person shooter set during World War II. The player takes control over the US soldier David Wilson who gets wounded and separated from his brother during his first deployment in the Pacific. Later his path leads to Normandy, North Africa, Germany and Sicily while he tries to uncover the truth.

The game's location lead Wilson through linear setpieces in which he moves forward and shoots enemies. The camera and weapon crosshairs (there is optional aiming assistance) are controlled by touch while the other actions, e.g. firing the gun, changing weapons, toggling iron sights or going into cover, are initiated with emulated buttons/sticks. There are also alternate control methods available. Besides the on-foot-sections sometimes Wilson also uses a vehicle like a jeep with a mounted gun. There are also five multiplayer maps and three multiplayer modes (deathmatch, team deathmatch, domination) in which the player unlocks promotions (and therefore advantages) with earned experience and collected dog tags.

The later released free-to-play version (which replaced the original commercial iOs versions) add an in-game store in which players can purchase medals for faster progression.
