About

Arlington Horse Racing is a amusement only horse race betting arcade game. In the game, the player must use their points to bet on which of the 6 horses in the race will win, place, or show. Once the player has placed their bet, the horse race will automatically play out complete with commentary from racetrack announcer Phil Georgeff, after which the player will be rewarded their winnings which they can use to bet again. By default, the player receives 1 point for every coin they put into the machine, however this can be increased or set to free play by the operator. If the machine is configured with a ticket dispenser, the player has the choice to dispense a ticket if they have reach the minimum point value (20 by default). Doing so deducts the points from the player's in-game account. The player needs a minimum of 1 point to bet, if they do not the game will end unless they insert more coins.
