Amber's Blood

Amber's Blood: A Carol Reed Mystery is the eighth game in the series. On a break between her sleuthing episodes in Sweden, Carol is asked by her friend Stina to look into a problem with her grandfather's obituary. Her investigations end up leading to a much more extensive mystery than planned and Carol is once again involved in a complex case.

Amber's Blood continues the same gameplay tropes as the previous entries, being a point-and-click adventure game played from the first-person perspective. It features slideshow or node-based movement, with the artwork taken from still photographs. As the game progresses you will interrogate various people and search for clues that will open up new locations that you can visit on a map. Background music and sound effects are present throughout and there is voice acting for all characters. Puzzles involve using and combining inventory items and solving logic puzzles.
