About
Somewhere in Russia in a deserted underground KGB bunker, Gleb Ivanovich Nikolayev wakes up with no knowledge of his surroundings or how he came to be there. He must piece together information he finds throughout the underground complex as he attempts to make his way out to freedom. As his journey progresses, some of his memories start to return and a complex scenario involving espionage and paranormal activities begins to develop.
1953: KGB Unleashed was initially released to a Russian audience in 2010 as Phobos 1953 and later renamed and released to an international audience. It is a first-person adventure game with a realistic graphical style. The interface features an inventory and a passport which stores all documents that are collected during the adventure. There are a combination of environmental and inventory-based puzzles that must be completed to reach new areas of the underground complex. Voice acting, background music and sound effects are present throughout.
