DTI Software (now merged with Global Eagle) was founded in 1995 by Daniel Laplante and provided casual video games, interactive content, and applications primarily for in-flight entertainment. It was acquired by In-Flight Alliance on Jan 18, 2008, who was then merged with Global Eagle and Row44 in Jan 2013. Global Eagle Entertainment Inc. (GEE) is a company that provides media content, technology and connectivity products to the travel industry. It operates in the aviation and maritime markets.
