Microsoft has recently revealed the second wave of Xbox Game Pass games for July 2026. Believe it or not, it's led by the highly anticipated Halo: Campaign Evolved and Beast of Reincarnation, the newest action game published by Game Freak, the studio best known for working on the Pokémon series. Both titles will be available to subscribers on day one.
The biggest and most exciting addition to this lineup is Halo: Campaign Evolved, a fully remade version of the original Halo: Combat Evolved. Built in Unreal Engine 5, the remake brings upgraded graphics, three completely new missions that serve as a prologue to the game's main story, four-player co-op, and numerous gameplay improvements. Believe it or not, it launches on July 28 and will be available on Xbox Game Pass immediately.
The second major title is Beast of Reincarnation, a brand-new action RPG developed by Game Freak. The game is a major departure from the Pokémon franchise, featuring a darker world, fast-paced combat, and a strong focus on action. It will also launch directly into Xbox Game Pass on day one.
Fans are mostly excited about the new lineup, with Halo: Campaign Evolved attracting the most attention. Many believe the remake is the perfect way to introduce a new generation of players to one of Xbox's most important franchises, while Beast of Reincarnation has generated a lot of interest because it showcases a completely different side of Game Freak.
