Xbox admits Game Pass may be too expensive
"A leaked internal memo suggests Xbox is rethinking Game Pass pricing after admitting the service may no longer offer the value players expect."
Major alterations to Xbox Game Pass are possible in the nearest future as internal company talks showed some concerns about current Game Pass pricing.
It was reported by a leaked document that Microsoft management understands Game Pass has become too costly for gamers, and the sustainability of such pricing policy has been put in question.
The project has developed much since its inception and become a multi-layered product that provides its subscribers with access to hundreds of games as well as instant release days. Unfortunately, recent price hikes, especially those connected with the Ultimate plan, led to significant criticism from the users and game developers alike.

Thus, according to the memo, the management tries to find a better value equation that might include changes to any of pricing tiers, their number, and even Game Pass content.
Moreover, there are rumors that the service will become more versatile in the future providing different models for different types of gamers.
Nevertheless, the Game Pass is a crucial part of Xbox development policy, and any changes will definitely try to find the best balance between the rising prices and affordable costs.
