Two major Xbox sequels confirmed for this 2026 year!

Two more big Xbox sequels are arriving this year, and it has been confirmed that they are from two well-known franchises.

It has been confirmed that these two well-known franchises coming to Xbox Series X and Xbox Series S during Summer 2026 are actually sequels to Aliens: Fireteam Elite and The Sinking City. Both games received new trailers and a release window for Summer 2026.

Aliens: Fireteam Elite 2 brings even bigger co-op! It increases co-op from three to four players, and the developers promise deeper team mechanics and improved class systems.
New types of Xenomorph enemies have also been announced.
All of this makes it look like a much more ambitious sequel than the first game.

THE SINKING CITY 2 LOOKS MUCH DARKER!
The Sinking City 2, which was previously planned for 2025, has now been delayed to Summer 2026.
The new gameplay trailer shows a much more serious horror approach compared to the first game, and visually it looks far more advanced than the original.
It seems like the studio is trying to take the series to a much higher level than before.
