It turns out the rumors were true: Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis has been delayed to 2027 to avoid GTA 6.

It turns out the rumors were true: Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis has been delayed to 2027 to avoid GTA 6. Today's State of Play confirmed that Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis will see the light of day on February 12, 2027. To be fair, we don't have an official explanation as to why that is, but given that GTA 6 comes out in November, it can be assumed that there is a reason to delay the release.

Tomb Raider: Legacy of Atlantis is a remake of the original 1996 Tomb Raider, and was set for release later this year. It will cost $59.99, and you can check out a snippet of the gameplay shown at the State of Play—where the delay was confirmed—at the link below.
