The Division Resurgence is unexpectedly free for PC

The game The Division Resurgence has been shadowdropped on PC and is now free! You can play it right away, and it's free to play. It is part of the Tom Clancy's The Division universe.

This is a very out-of-nowhere drop, as there were no signs or leaks.

This is not a classic sequel like The Division 2, but more of a spin-off or a lighter version of the Division formula.

It was originally planned as a mobile version, but now it has arrived on PC completely UNEXPECTEDLY! No leaks before, no announcment, nothing! Purely unexpectedly!

Since we already know what Division is like, we can expect a third-person cover shooter vibe; with a loot grind where we collect gear, weapon builds, and PvE missions + PvP modes. Also co-op gameplay.
Basically Destiny + MMO + cover shooter, all mixed!

But realistically, since this is an F2P game; we can expect a lot of microtransactions, grind, and possibly pay-to-speed-up elements. Especially since it comes from Ubisoft, which is not exactly known for clean monetization.

This is a shadowdrop, so literally nobody expected an immediate release, it happened suddenly. And IT’S ALSO FREE, so you can try it with no risk.
If you like the Division loop; YOU’LL GET MORE OF IT! :)

This is a good casual grind if you like looter shooters, and it's solid for co-op with friends. But it probably won’t be as deep as a full Division game...

It’s free, so it’s worth trying! If the loop hooks you and you like the game, you’ll get hours of gameplay.
But if not; you can uninstall it without regret since it’s free anyway.
