The date appeared on the game’s Steam page, likely by mistake — after which it was quickly removed.

It is an arcade racing game set in the Star Wars universe, developed by Fuse Games, who are former developers of Need for Speed and Burnout.
This game will have a singleplayer campaign, multiplayer mode, and arcade races and time trials.
So it’s a mix of podracing and modern arcade racing.
The leak also revealed some additional details, such as the presence of a Deluxe Edition of the game, and pre-order bonuses that include skins, banners, etc...
The Deluxe version includes exclusive vehicles, a digital art book, and additional events.

It is already clear that this is one of the bigger Star Wars projects for 2026.

If the date is legit, Ubisoft and EA competition is getting a serious rival in the racing genre.
