Spider-Man 2 gets two new suits and PS5 Pro upgrade

Marvel's Spider-Man 2 game just got two new Spider-Man suits that you can equip. And besides that, it also got an improvement for PS5 Pro.

Insomniac Games has released a new free update for Marvel's Spider-Man 2 which adds two new suits for Peter Parker that you can equip. The update also arrives ahead of the release of the new Spider-Man movie titled Spider-Man: Brand New Day and therefore also brings several technical improvements for PS5 Pro.

The first new suit we got is the Fresh Start Suit, which is inspired by the look that Tom Holland wears in the new Spider-Man movie which is supposed to be released under the name Spider-Man: Brand New Day. The design returns a little more towards the classic Spider-Man look with the recognizable red-and-blue suit.

The second one is the Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls Suit, which is based on Spider-Man's look from the fighting game under the same name; Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls. Unlike the movie suit, this suit has a slightly more modern look, white details, a bigger Spider-Man symbol and a slightly cel-shaded stylization.

Both of these suits are completely free without any DLC and are automatically added to the game after installing this new update.

The PS5 Pro also got another additional improvement! This update also brings support for Enhanced PSSR on PS5 Pro, compared to the improved version of Sony's AI upscaling system, which should further improve image quality.
Power Saver Mode was also added, so the update is no longer focused only on new suits.

Marvel’s Spider-Man 2 has received two new free suits for Peter Parker, one from Spider-Man: Brand New Day, and the other from Marvel Tōkon: Fighting Souls.

The update simultaneously brings Enhanced PSSR for PS5 Pro and Power Saver Mode, with Insomniac further refreshing the game ahead of the release of the new Spider-Man movie.
