A familiar face from previous games is returning in the main role. According to rumors, one of the legendary protagonists from past Resident Evil games is expected to be the central character of this entire game. The character mentioned the most is the very well-known Leon S. Kennedy, who Capcom obviously still sees as the face of the whole franchise. The director of Resident Evil Requiem even recently stated that they want to keep using Leon even when he is 70 years old.
