Sony has just officially confirmed and revealed which monthly games are coming to PlayStation Plus for July 2026.
Sony has officially unveiled the new lineup of PlayStation Plus Essential games for July 2026. And the biggest surprise is the arrival of Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III.
Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III:
Grabbed the most attention out of all of them. Even though the game launched in late 2023 as a full-fledged AAA title, it is now finally becoming part of the PlayStation Plus Essential lineup. That means millions of subscribers will get access to the campaign, multiplayer, and Zombies mode without having to make any additional purchase of this legendary game. As long as they have an active subscription. All of that is really refreshing for all of us since we're not used to AAA games being on PlayStation Plus
Alongside it, two other great games are also joining the lineup:
For the King 2:
Battle against Fahrul's tyrannical Queen alone or as a party of four players in the sequel to For the King, the massively popular turn-based roguelite tabletop RPG. Will you unravel the once-beloved Queen's terrible secret?
CrossCode:
A retro-inspired 2D Action RPG set in the distant future. CrossCode combines 16-bit SNES-style graphics with butter-smooth physics, a fast-paced combat system, and engaging puzzle mechanics, served with a gripping sci-fi story.
If you're a PlayStation Plus subscriber, July looks pretty good for all of you.
With Call of Duty: Modern Warfare III, For the King 2, and CrossCode, Sony has prepared a very diverse lineup that combines one major AAA hit with two highly acclaimed smaller titles. All three of these games will be available to claim starting on July 7, 2026.
