No Man's Sky just got the new The Swarm update after quite a while. And of course, like it usually goes with these big new updates; players immediately noticed a MASSIVE DEATH STAR-LIKE STRUCTURE IN SPACE!
This new update adds new swarm enemies, larger space battles, and better AI for your allies in the game. But it also... adds a mysterious gigantic structure appearing throughout the galaxy.
The thing getting the most attention right now is that massive structure, because it literally looks like a No Man's Sky version of the Death Star. Players instantly started analyzing it and are already trying to figure out if this is a new faction, a world event, maybe even a raid zone? Or maybe it's setup for the next big storyline.
The community mostly has the same reaction to all of this; disbelief that this game is STILL getting updates this huge.
And honestly, that makes sense considering that No Man's Sky originally released all the way back in 2016.
And Hello Games is STILL constantly updating it, and completely FOR FREE! No DLCs, nothing.
The craziest part about all of this is that the game today looks almost completely different compared to launch because of things like; multiplayer, base building, massive fleets, mechs, living ships, oceans, expeditions, procedural horror stuff, and way way more...
The Swarm update adds a new massive sci-fi mystery, and the community is once again obsessed with lore theories like the old days.
No Man's Sky continues its usual absurd amount of support and updates ALMOST 10 YEARS LATER!
