Nintendo removed a description that hinted at an Ocarina of Time remake, and because of that it looks like they very accidentally fueled rumors about a remake of this game.

Nintendo appears to have accidentally sparked rumors about a remake of one legendary game, The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time.

Fans recently noticed a description on one of Nintendo's pages that mentioned Ocarina of Time as a title that would be worth recreating, which immediately made many fans think that Nintendo was preparing a full remake of the game for the Nintendo Switch 2. However, it didn't take long before the company removed that controversial text.

Of course, because of this the entire internet instantly exploded. Many fans believe that things like this rarely end up on official Nintendo pages by accident, so theories started appearing that the company may have revealed a project too early that it wasn't ready to announce yet. On the other hand, it's also possible that it was just a simple mistake in the description or a poorly used phrase, which is why they removed it.

The Legend of Zelda: Ocarina of Time is often considered one of the greatest video games of all time, so it's not that surprising that fans have spent years asking for a modern remake of the game in the style of Resident Evil 4 or Final Fantasy VII Remake. Any little thing that hints at the return of this legendary game automatically becomes a huge topic in the gaming community.

Fan comments are mostly about how hyped they are because Nintendo supposedly leaked the remake by accident. Though some people think that others are overanalyzing a single sentence. One thing is certain, and that is that fans of the Zelda series are currently grabbing onto every possible crumb of information.

Nintendo removed a description that gave many fans hope that an Ocarina of Time remake is on the way. And now we don't know whether this was an accidental mistake or an early hint of something bigger. But Zelda fans definitely have a new reason for theories.
